Dawn Lake Powell Fast Business Trip Reflections

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

Due to recent events, we are seeking investors to participate in completion of certification (see the fall 2007 newsletter).

A number of order holders have committed to an investment purchase of stock, and we are seeking a few more investors to reach our goal.  We need to have sufficient operating capital in order to complete certification.  We will not resume the program until we do.

As with any development start-up company, there is risk involved.  However, there will be substantial reward if we are successful.

The Certified Seawind 300C Flight Test Aircraft Crashes

We regret to inform you that the certified flight test aircraft crashed on August 16, 2007 during a flight from Saint Andrews Airport near Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Sadly the test pilot perished in the crash.

The cause of the crash is not fully known and the speculation, as usual, has been inaccurate.  A report on the findings to date is available.  Click on Newsletters and select Fall 2007.

A temporary interruption of business has been instituted.  It will be in effect until we can determine the cause of this event and develop a plan to complete the project.

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding.  We will keep you informed.

Manufacturing

We have received approval from Transport Canada to produce five certification compliant aircraft in addition to the two test aircraft, or seven total for now.  We will request more as we progress.

The assembly of the second flight test aircraft scheduled for the FADEC engine and advanced avionics is continuing.  The tooling is being finalized during this assembly with final proofing to be completed on the third aircraft.

The fiberglass parts for the third aircraft are finished and the parts for the fourth aircraft have been started.  This milestone event has started us on the road to production and is a credit to our production department.  We are far enough along in our flight testing to be confident that there will be no significant changes resulting from the remaining flight testing.
