October 2005 Some of you have requested photos of the cockpit/upholstery and below view a few of them.
Mockup with simulated glass cockpit and actual upholstery.. Well, if you go to the Newsletter page, you'll see that our Fall 2005 Seawind Flyer has been finished and mailed. We sent over 450 newsletters by email and have just mailed another 1000 to 'snail-mailers'. Again, if you want to be on the email list vs the snail mail list, just email us and say so... As the Flyer states, we are moving along quite well with certification, manufacturing, tooling and sales. The journey has not been without challenges, but, what would life be without challenges? We start our certification flying next week with orientation of the test pilots and expect our First Test Article (FTA) shortly. We are putting the finishing touches on the Seawind 300C Customer Survey for options and avionics. Hopefully, that survey will be sent next week. Anyone else interested in the survey, email us. We are still not fully sure of the glass cockpit choices, but do know that the Garmin MX20 stack is available to us. The G1000 will be available in late 2006. We're still working with SAGEM and their products are awesome, but we're somewhat concerned about pricing. So, we'll see on that as well.
